Bay Beach Development Plans

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Fort Erie Blog. After three weeks, we’ve had a tremendous response to this site and have received excellent participation thus far!

A page has been created on the Town of Fort Erie Website that provides the most current and accurate plans available for the Bay Beach Development (South Beach Condominium) project.  This will be a dynamic page containing the latest development plan documents.  In an effort to prevent confusion, older plans will be removed once they have been superseded by new information.

It looks like things are moving forward, keep the information coming and the project going! Once the project is complete, will there still be security at the beach?

      Hi Justice,
thank you for your interest in the Bay Beach Project.

Security at the Beach will remain as currently provided. Once the project is complete, security will be reevaluated.

      Hi Chris,

the condos will start as early as spring 2012 dependent upon legal issues. it is anticipated the building will take two years to build. Estimated cost per unit is $250 to $300 a square foot.

Thank you for your interest in the project.

Will the units be for sale to everyone at the same time or will the best ones be sold to well connected friends and families or given to specific real estate agents who sell them before they are open to the public? This practice is common in condo developments in larger locales. I hope this is not the case here.

      Hi Sandy,

The selling of units is completely up to the developer. I understand there is a lengthy list of people who have already inquired about units. If you are interested in a unit, I would suggest you contact the developer directly. Inquiries for units with the Molinaro Group can be made at this email address: sdisanto@molinaro.ca

Mr. Brady, why did you end the thread on Crystal Beach Gateway Development (South Beach Condominium)?
You weren’t finished answering the questions, and I and others may have had some further questions.
Is this how things work for you, people start asking questions and you shut them up?

      Hi Derek,
Thanks for participating in the blog. As the moderator I am trying to keep this blog current and easy to follow. For this reason I am closing down the comment section on blog posts more than 2 months old. We have enjoyed connecting with the citizens of Fort Erie through this medium, regardless of which side of an issue they are on, and hope to continue doing so.

I encourage you and everyone in Fort Erie to keep reading and networking through our blog.

      Thanks, Kelly Davis (moderator)

      Hi Derek,

I am still answering new questions related to the Site Plan and providing comment. However, once I have answered a question, I reserve the right to not have to repeat myself, nor is the purpose of the blog to debate the history of the project and whether we agree or disagree about past decisions of Council. Please send me any new questions and I will be glad to research and provide answers.

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Fort Erie Blog Derek.
