NIAGARA REGION, Nov. 9, 2015 – Niagara Region Public Health’s Fort Erie office and Fort Erie Sexual Health Centre will move to 1264 Garrison Road, Unit 12, Fort Erie effective Monday, Nov. 16, 2015. All telephone, fax, and email information will remain the same.

The offices currently located at 43 Hagey Ave. will have the following modified hours the week before the move:

• Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015 – open until 12:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, Nov. 11 – Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 – closed

Services will resume on Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, at the new location (1264 Garrison Rd. Unit 12) from 8:30-4:30 p.m.

Residents requiring public health services Nov. 11-13 can call or visit the main office at 905-688-8248 or 1815 Sir Isaac Way, Thorold. Sexual health services can be accessed at the St. Catharines centre (277 Welland Ave.), the Niagara Falls centre (5710 Kitchener St.), or the Welland centre (200 Division St.).

All public health programs and services, including dental clinics, immunization clinics, mental health counselling, breastfeeding support and water testing (pick-up and drop-off of bottles), will continue to be offered at the new Fort Erie office location. Sexual health counselling, testing, and treatment will continue to be provided at the new Fort Erie Sexual Health Centre.

 
The 1264 Garrison Rd. property was selected due to its location, accessibility for clients, proximity to the other health care services, availability of transportation, and long-term advantage to the Town of Fort Erie.
