Fort Erie Fire Ban Lifted

After several days of rain, the fire risk has returned to an acceptable level and the Fort Erie Fire Department is lifting the Fire Ban effective immediately.

Fire Chief Larry Coplen thanks everyone for their patience in complying with the ban. He reminds everyone to follow all municipal rules when burning, and check the town website and social media regularly to ensure that the ban has not been re-issued.

On the website it’s saying that the fire ban has been lifted but at the fire hall here in Crystal Beach, their sign out front is saying otherwise. I’m kind of confused to whether we could have a fire or not so I figured you could help me with that. Thanks so much
