Chamber Trade Show Open to All This Thursday from 2-7pm

More than 50 exhibitors from across the Region will be at the Fort Erie Leisureplex Banquet Hall, September 15, selling their products and showcasing their services during the Fort Erie Chamber of Commerce Annual Trade Show.

Held in partnership with the Town of Fort Erie and co-sponsored by the Fort Erie Times, the Fort Erie Post and Pandor Productions, this free event gives people an opportunity to browse and learn more about the many products and services offered by businesses in Greater Fort Erie and beyond.

“There are so many hidden gems here,” says Kate Marcil, Operations Manager at the Greater Fort Erie Chamber of Commerce. “Every year we have people come through the Trade Show and they’re amazed at the number of local businesses that sell products and services they’ve never heard of. It’s such an exceptional event and, best of all, admission is absolutely free and everyone is welcome.”

The Trade Show attracts upwards of 500 visitors every year, who are greeted by business people and vendors promoting everything from health and beauty, pet care, travel, restaurants, home décor, candy, giftware, home and office, technology, antiques, organizations, jewelry, business promotion, employment, financial services, and much more.

“It’s quite an eclectic collection of merchants, and it’s a great way to get your name out there,” says Marcil. “The Trade Show is not like our Chamber networking events; it’s a community event, which means your business gets even more exposure.”

The Trade Show runs from 2 to 7 p.m. and will feature vendor tables and displays, demonstrations, free samples, door prizes and giveaways. Parking and admission is free.
“There will be something for everyone and we are thrilled to be able to bring business and community together for a few fantastic hours,” said Marcil. “The Trade Show’s success is highly dependent upon the attendance and we are hopeful that many from our Town and across the Region will mark their calendars and stop in to check it out.”
