Media Release (December 8, 2016) Town Staff has received notice that there are individuals going door-to-door throughout Fort Erie. These people are claiming to be representatives of the Town of Fort Erie. They are also claiming that the drinking water supply is unsafe to drink.

The Town’s Water/Wastewater Services Division has consulted with the Niagara Regional Police regarding this issue. The Police Service supports our objections to this activity and encourages residents to obtain personal descriptions, business card information, vehicle make, model and license plate numbers.

Please be assured that the Town’s drinking water is safe and it continues to meet all Drinking Water Quality Objectives as legislated by the province of Ontario.
