On Saturday, April 28, the FEFD celebrated the 28^th Annual Service Awards. In all, the event included 19 honoured guests; 61 retirees and guests; and 161 firefighters, public educators, administrators and guests.

The FEFD is very proud of our ability to retain dedicated firefighters and educators. Its team are tested often with significant challenges and barriers. While on duty, they personify compassion and perseverance in the face of those challenges and make a difference in the lives of countless individuals and their families every year.
