Summer has officially begun! With the start of summer we have seen increasing temperatures and high humidity! This combination  has increased visitors to the beach in search of some relief in the cooler lake temperatures and a fun day spent with family and friends on the beach. For a great beach outing we would like to offer the following suggestions:

1. Bring lots of water to stay hydrated, please leave your alcohol at home as it is not permitted on the beach

2. Please use the washroom facilities made available

3. Wear and bring plenty of sunscreen

4. Please refrain from bringing large tents to ensure that everyone has space on the beach! (Umbrellas and small sun shelters are great!)

5. Park in designated areas only, you wouldn’t want to ruin a great day at the beach with a costly parking ticket

6. Pack a cooler full of snacks, remember BBQing is not allowed on the beach

7. Bring towels, sand and water toys

8. Remember safety first on the beach and in the water!
