Fort Erie Transit modified schedule beginning April 20

FORT ERIE (April 16, 2020) The safety of our employees and passengers is extremely important to Fort Erie Transit. Effective, Monday, April 20, 2020, the following changes will be made to transit service operations:

  • East Green Line (#751) will be temporarily cancelled until further notice
  • East Blue Line (#750) and the West Yellow Line (#760) will stop at 7pm (Monday to Saturday)
  • North Red Line (#770) will run as regularly scheduled

In addition to reducing schedules, the following measures have also been put in place to protect both passengers and drivers:

  • A barrier has been installed in the front of the bus near the driver, in order to protect both the drivers and passengers. If you need to board the bus with a mobility device, please board in the front. The drivers will be able to help get you on and secured
  • Rear door boarding is in effect (for all passengers that do not require a mobility device) and fares are not being accepted at this time
  • Bus travel is for essential trips only (employment/grocery/pharmacy)
  • All bus interiors have been cleaned and disinfected
  • High touch areas on buses continue to be disinfected daily

If you have any questions regarding the schedules or changes that have been made during this time, please contact Jennifer Pennell-Ajie at 905-871-1600 ext. 2401 or jpennellajie@forterie.ca.
