Bay Beach 2020 resident season passes available for pick-up starting Saturday

FORT ERIE (June 11, 2020) Due to the impacts of COVID-19, Bay Beach (also known as Crystal Beach) is closed to anyone without a Fort Erie resident season pass.

Resident season passes for Bay Beach are being offered to Fort Erie residents, Fort Erie taxpayers and Fort Erie short-term rental operators with proof of address such as a driver’s license, passport, tax bill or any bill that shows the person’s name and address.

Resident season pass holders can gain access to Bay Beach starting Friday, June 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (weekdays) and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (weekends and holidays). A maximum of 2,000 people will be allowed entry to Bay Beach per day (with no exceptions) to ensure physical distancing measures can be practiced. 

The fee for obtaining a Bay Beach resident season pass has been waived for 2020. The resident season pass pick-up schedule will alternate back and forth between the Leisureplex (3 Municipal Centre Drive) and Crystal Ridge Arena (109 Ridge Rd S) for two weeks starting on Saturday, June 13, at the Leisureplex. Passes will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. After this two-week period, passes will be available weekdays at the Leisureplex only from 10 a.m. to noon daily.

The remaining beaches in Fort Erie will be opened on Friday, June 26, as well to the public, including non-residents (resident passes not required).

    This is good hopefully beach stays clean and no bottles or cans left on the beach this beach is beautiful let’s keep it that way please
