Pharmasave opens in Stevensville

FORT ERIE (June 4, 2020) Residents living within the Stevensville community and surrounding areas won’t have to go far to fill their prescriptions. This week, the community is celebrating the opening of Pharmasave at 2763 Stevensville Road.

“It all started three years ago during a day trip I took with my daughters to Fort Erie from Mississauga. During that trip, I came to realize that the medical needs of the Stevensville community were underserved and this is what inspired the vision of Pharmasave. I began working with Town staff to make this vision a reality. This project has been three years of hard work made possible by the dedication and support of the community’s very own people. It is a testimony to the community’s worthiness of the care they deserve and it is what motivated me to do the work that I do every day. I hope that I will be able to make it possible for the people of Stevensville and Black Creek to get the medical care that they deserve”, said Mina Attia, Pharmasave, pharmacist and owner.

Pharmasave is a full-service pharmacy, offering over the counter medicines, home health care products and delivery services. Over time, Attia will adapt product offerings to suit the community’s medical needs. In addition to a Pharmasave, a medical clinic will also be on site with details coming soon.

“A new pharmacy and a medical clinic in Fort Erie will provide current and future residents with additional access to health care professionals, medication and pharmaceutical items critical to one’s health and well-being. On behalf of the Town, I would like to thank Mr. Attia for bringing this wonderful opportunity to Fort Erie,” said Mayor Wayne Redekop.

“Adequate health care is priority for all of us. Having a doctor and a pharmacy in the community will assist in addressing this priority. We look forward to welcoming both with open arms to the Stevensville and Black Creek communities,” said Councillor Ann-Marie Noyes.

Pharmasave’s hours of operations are Monday – Friday from 9:00am – 7:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am – 2:00pm.

An official ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening will be planned once it is safe to do so.
