Fort Erie Fire Department Hosting Food & Bottle Drive

FORT ERIE (September 17, 2020) On Saturday, September 26, the Fort Erie Fire Department is hosting a food and bottle drive from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This will be a co-divisional event led by the Public Education division and supported by the Suppression division.

All Fire Stations will be open. You can attend this event at any of these locations:

  • Station 2: 444 Central Avenue
  • Station 3: 1015 Dominion Road
  • Station 4: 398 Ridge Road North
  • Station 5: 2654 Stevensville Road
  • Station 6: 271 Ridgeway Road

The food banks are in need of the following items: pasta, pasta sauce, canned meats, fruit cups, drink boxes, rice, cereal, granola bars, canned veggies, peanut butter, oatmeal, chili, infant formula, diapers and personal hygiene items. Wine bottle and beer bottle empties are also accepted.

This eventwill be a drive through operation with personal protective equipment and pandemic health measures put in place.
