Fort Erie to open spray pads for June 1

FORT ERIE (May 31, 2021) The Town of Fort Erie is opening spray pads across the community for Tuesday, June 1, 2021.

The Town Parks and Facilities division is currently working on getting the spray pads ready by inspecting each spray pad for safety, cleaning, turning on the water for use, etc.  The Niagara Region Public Health Department has recently given approval for the operation of the pads.

The following spray pads will be open from dawn to dusk:

  • Crystal Ridge Park
  • Stevensville Memorial Park
  • The multi-use water feature at Ridgeway Village Square

Bertie Centennial Park (Ferndale Park) requires some additional signage and will be reopened within the next 1-2 weeks. Stay tuned to the Town’s social media accounts for updates.

A reminder that spray pads are not monitored by Town Staff. Families who visit Fort Erie spray pads should follow all public health guidelines such as physical distancing from others by 2-metres, washing your hands and staying home if you feel ill.
