Bay Beach – Resident, Commercial, and Parking Season Passes Now Available for 2022 Season

FORT ERIE (June 7, 2022) – The Town of Fort Erie is excited to announce that Resident,
Commercial and Parking Season Passes are now available for the 2022 beachgoing season.


Residents
Starting Wednesday, June 8, 2022, Resident Season Passes will be available each day at the
Bay Beach entrance from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Resident Season Passes are $10.00 each and
are available to any taxpayer and all members of their immediate household. To help lower
costs for families, children 12 years old and under can access the beach for free all season,
whether a resident or just visiting. Proof of residency or property ownership (utility bill, tax bill,
etc.) containing a Fort Erie address is required at the time of purchase, along with a form of
photo ID such as a: driver’s license, passport, health card, status card, or school card.


Non-residents
Paid admission for the 2022 beach season for non-residents is available on-site at the beach. The
cost for a day pass Monday to Thursday is $5.00 per person, and $10.00 per person on Friday
Saturday, Sunday, and on holidays.


Parking
Starting Monday, June 13, paid parking will be enforced around the Crystal Beach area, so
residents are encouraged to purchase a 2022 On-Street Parking Pass. Beginning June 6 –
(Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm) On-Street Parking Season Passes are available for
purchase online with two options: pick up at Town Hall, or home delivery. If you select mail
delivery you can expect your passes from Canada Post in accordance with their delivery
schedule.

Commercial
Fort Erie Short-Term Rental operators can purchase Commercial Season Passes for $100
each. Short-Term Rental operators must have a 2022 Short-Term Rental licence to purchase
Commercial Season Passes. Commercial Passes can be purchased online anytime and inperson at Town Hall (1 Municipal Centre Drive, Fort Erie) between 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday
to Friday, save and except holidays. Online orders for Commercial Passes can be picked up at
Town Hall only and not currently at Bay Beach. Passes can also be sent first-class mail with
Canada Post as per their delivery schedule.
