Does Fort Erie produce a “summer guide for visitors and summer residence”?… Seems to me we had one at one time…

My family and I have recently purchased a beach side property and discovered that our American neighbours need some advise and answers to some areas of concern.

The most important concern is that of health care and emergency services. They really do not know what to do. From what I have heard, in the past the Peace Bridge would provide an emergency lane from Canada to the US to transport an American who chooses to be cared for in the US. While this “fast lane” idea may have worked in the past, I don’t believe that is the case anymore. Our American neighbours and all visitors to the area should be aware of the steps needed to care for someone in an emergency.

The publication was well done. Provided ideas on activities and shopping, promoted local services and eating establishments, maps and numerous other useful information.

How do we put information like this into the hands of our summer guests? They need some guidance and clarity.

      Hi Tom,

Thanks for your inquiry. You may be referring to our summer leisure guide. This should be coming out in the spring. Please watch our web site for the digital copy.

If you are in the Crystal Beach area you may find the brochure at the bottom of the EDTC’s page of interest. Also on that page is a link to some fantastic video’s of Fort Erie that you may want to show out of Town friends.
